Celebrating Excellence at the 34th Annual NPHC Scholarship Program

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of Lafayette, Louisiana proudly hosted its 34th Annual Scholarship Program, honoring outstanding high school seniors and college students for their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to service.
The Ivy Legacy Foundation of Acadiana (ILFoA) was honored to support this meaningful celebration of educational excellence by awarding a total of $12,000 in scholarships to deserving students throughout the Acadiana region. These scholarships recognized students who exemplify academic success, leadership, community involvement, and strong character as they prepare to pursue their future goals.

In addition to the Foundation’s scholarships, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Eta Chi Omega Chapterpresented several distinguished awards, including:
The Earline D. Pipkin Scholarship — a $2,500 merit-based scholarship named in honor of the chapter’s founding member and first president.
Book Stipend Awards — Four $500 stipends were awarded to the children of chapter members to support their continued educational journeys.
